can selected sender be from selected account folder

I am using entourage as default mail application; One computer and
mail is set up as POP to download messages from business web site host
to each of 4 different user's accounts in entourage.

When sending out a new mail message, is there any way that the sender
(from) field automatically shows whose account folder your in at that
time rather than having to select sender manually from the drop down
menu in the sender field? It defaults to the default account

No, when you are sending a new message from a POP account, using the Inbox
or other folders On My Computer, the dropdown list is the only way to choose
an account other than the default account.

If you can use IMAP or Exchange accounts instead of POP accounts, Entourage
will choose the account associated with the selected Inbox (or other folder
on the IMAP or Exchange server).

Another possibility for POP accounts is to select, on the Options tab for
the account, the option to Allow Online Access (shows account in folder
list). If you then select the online folder instead of a folder On My
Computer, Entourage will select that account as the sender.
