Hi,
I created a couple of macros in excel, and they worked great. Woo-hoo! And I
did stored in my personal workbook so I could use them as new spreadsheets
come to me that I need to format. But then I decided to delete one. It said I
had to “unhide†a sheet or workbook (can’t remember). So I went up to
“windows†pull down, chose “unhideâ€, and up comes a sheet called “personal
workbook†or something like that. So then it let me delete the macro.
Now this morning I go into my macros, and they’re all gone (ok I only had 2,
but still…). So I’ll just re-create them – no big deal. So now when I try to
record a new macro I get the message “personal macro workbook in the startup
folder must remain open for recording a macro†– I have no idea what this
means or how to get to the start up folder. Do you know? If not, do you know
how I can restore defaults for this so I can start over and be able to record
a macro?
