can specific days in Calendar show and print in colors?

In Outlook's monthly calendar view, can I have selected days print in
different background colors? For example, when I travel, I want to show the
travel day with a blue background; the days in the Midwest in yellow; the
days on the West coast in green; etc.

You could use the Events function and change the colour labels to mean
"Interstate travel", "Holiday" etc. It works for me. You can set the
colour label as you make Events or by editing them. An Event will mark your
time as "free" be default, so you can still book your meetings.

You didn't mention your version (please do in the future our ESP's not too
good). Labels only exist in 2002 and 2003.
