Can the owc11 warnings be disabled?

B

Bruce Lester

I have embedded the owc11 pivot table and chart in an Excel workbook. The
connection works fine and I am able to write code to capture events
occurring in the pivot table and chart; however, I would like to disable the
warning messages that display dialogs whenever I open a workbook containing
the web components.

Any ideas?

Bruce,
if you are talking about the security dialogs warning you of potentially
harmful activex controls, just add your website as a trusted site.

Alvin,

I have embedded the controls on an Excel sheet (no IE and no web page.)

Is there a way to make the security dialogs go away if you put the controls
in Excel (or a VB form, etc.)?

If I understand you correctly, I don't think this is possible.
