Can This Be Done With Project?

I have clients who buy hourly service contracts. Can the
following be done with Project:

1.) Establish project lets say for 50 hours. Client 1 -
50 hours of support.
2.) Then as work is completed they could be entered as
sub-tasks with hours but would decrease the overall
project. This way I could produce a report showing what
has been acommplished and hours remaining.

Thanks.

Well, I'm sure it *could* be done, but I would recommend you not do it
that way. The reason is that what you are doing is not dealing with
information involved in managing a project, which is what Project does.

If you want to use a computer, make a document with a table document or
even better a spreadsheet (Excel or other) that lists each item along
with hours spent, subtracting from the contract level as you go.
