Can this be done

I am wondering if there is a way to have a text box show when a value in a
drop box says a certain thing in Infopath 2003?

For example:

Drop Box Values:
Yes
No
Other

If "other" is selcted a text box will show up to the right of the drop box
so it can be typed in. The text box won't show up by default nor will it if
Yes or No are selected.

Thanks

Yes you can do this by applying conditional formatting on sections.
1. In drop down control add Yes, No and other values to it.
2. Add a section and place a text box in it.
3. Double click on section and in section properties click on display tab
4. Click on conditional formatting.
5. In first drop down select “select a field or group†and select field1 in
it. In second drop down select “Is not equal to†and in third drop down
select “Type text†and type “Other†in it.
6. Click Ok 3 times. And then preview the form.

By doing this, Text box is displayed when you select “Other†in drop down.
