Can tooltips from XML be disabled programmatically?

When displaying the xml structure of a document I would like to disable the
tooltips that appear when hovering the mouse over the start or end tags (see
http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/9412/tooltipc.png for an example).

Can this be done programmatically and if so how?

You can switch off the screentips, e.g.

ActiveDocument.ActiveWindow.DisplayScreenTips = True

but that also switches off other features that have nothing to do with
XML. I don't know if there is a way to switch of /XML/ screetips but no
others.
