Can Two Sets of Footnotes Operate at Once?

K

Ken Newberger

My questions is this: Can I have one set of footnotes, using numbers, 1, 2,
3 etc., be placed at the end of my Word document while I have another set of
footnotes, a, b, c, etc. be placed the bottom of the page? If so, can this
be programmed within Word?

Thanks.

Yes. Use Word endnotes for the former, and Word footnotes for the
latter. Go to Insert => Reference => Footnote and you'll see the
dialogue box and your choices to set up the numbering schemes for
endnotes and footnotes.
