Can two users use different track changes in one document?

I want to review someone's tracked changes and make further changes in
tracked mode but be able to distinguish my changes to the first persons. Can
I change the colour for further tracked changes without all the colours
changing?

Thanks. I'm guessing it won't show up as two different colors if I send back
to the other user unless they have it set to author as well. Is that correct?
