Can two versions of Access coexist on 1 PC?

Hi all,

I have updated to OfficeXP, and will be using XP going forward, but I have
some rather extensive applications that were developed in Access 97. I just
don't have time to convert them all to XP and troubleshoot code issues, etc.
Can Office 97 and Office XP exist on the same PC (not set up for dual boot)
with a single OS?

Thanks,
Anthony

Yes, 97 through XP can co-exist on the same machine. I have 97 through XP on
my machine now. Soon, 2003 will go along with it too.

However, it is important to install the applications in the proper ordering.
That is:
1. 97
2. 2000
3. 2002

There has been some issues with installing 97 AFTER 2002 has been installed.
Some people have the problem, some don't. Go figure....

I also might recommend Total Access Startup.

If you are developing with multiple versions of Access, its always
convenient to launch the right version of Access.
