can anyone help me as it is not clear from dealers or the microsoft
web page - can you upgrade from v.4.2.1 on the apple mac to the
current version which runs in apple mac system software 'X' which is
version 10 / v.X?

However, if you can find a cheap version of Office98, you can get
the upgrade price for Office v.X. Check local usergroups, Apple
dealers, even eBay (but make sure it's a legitimate copy).
