can we make the text inside word is readonly?

Hi All,

I need to create a word template , and all predefine text are readonly.

people can only insert text on this word document at certain area.

so just wonder how can i make those predefine text are readonly?

If you look at Tools > Protect Document, you'll notice a Sections button
beside the Forms option. When you protect the document for Forms, you can
specify which sections are or are not protected.

You need to put your "read only" text in separate sections, then protect the
document for forms use, the click Sections and check or clear the various
sections as required.
