Can Word for Mac create templates for tables?

Hi,

I am trying to create many tables with the same look and feel using Word
for Mac and I wonder if it is possible to create a table template that I
can then apply to all tables?

What you are actually looking to do is to create table *Styles*. Word does
provide the capability to do so, but it is generally accepted that the
result is a bit flaky - or worse.

What appears to be a better approach is to save the formatted table as an
AutoText as described in Clive Huggan's "Bend Word to Your Will" which you
can download Here:

Information beginning on page 123 should prove quite useful - as should the
rest of the work!
