Can Word have multiple layouts? Portrait on one page and landscape on another?

Hi Athos,

If you insert a Section Break, (Insert>Break), you can have different
orientations for each section.

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested. Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps

Yes it can if you insert Section Breaks. Place your cursor at the end of
your Portrait Page and click "Insert", "Break". In the dialog box click the
"Section Break Next Page" option. You will see in the bottom left hand side
of the Word window that you are now in Section 2. If you scroll up a little
and click your mouse you will see that you are now in Section 1. Scroll
back down to the top of Page 2 (Section 2), click the "File" menu, select
"Page Setup". Change the margins and "Landscape" option. You will also see
on this dialog box that you have an option to apply this to the "Whole
document" or "This Section". Make sure it says "This Section".

For what it is worth, you can insert another Section Break at the bottom of
this page and change Page 3 back to Portrait. For that matter, as many
Sections breaks (within reason) that your document needs.

Hope this helps!
