Excel 2002 can read Works 8 spreadsheet files.
Word 2002 files from MS Works Suite are the
same as in Office XP(2002) and still the same
file format in Office 2003.
MS Works database files aren't usable outside
of MS Works except in limited use as mailmerge
source data. You can save the MS Works database
files in comma delimited or DBF(dbase) formats
and Word and Excel can use those files.
