Can you back up larger than one CD for large documents

The CD's hold usually less than 700 KB's. Is it possible
for large "my document" files (more than 1 GB) to be
backed up to 2 or 3 CD's when saving.

Currently also I have only 256 memory. Do you think that
slows down the computer significantly?

I appreciate any help that anyone can provide.

Hi

I've never needed to try this but I do have a simple file splitter program
on my computer which I occassionally use for emails.

Nevertheless, there is an option where you can choose the size of the
'splits' and there is a pull down menu for destination including my CD
burner.

This could be a starting point to finding a solution.
