Can you CC a task request

I would like to assign tasks to my associates and CC my boss on the list of
assigned task. I can not find a way to get this done.

There is no way. Task Assignment is about someone taking responsibility. The
owner can send the boss a Staus Report. You can add the boss to the update
list - see the Details tab in the Task.
