Can you do a "paste special" in Word 2003?

Paste special strips the text you are pasting of all formatting. I used it
at my previous job all the time, but I'm not sure if it is something that was
created by the personnel there.

It's on the Edit menu. Edit | Paste Special | As unformatted text. But note
that you get this same option in Word 2003 using the Paste Options button.
