Can you drag and drop an item from one page to another?

Scenario: While working on a given page, I see an item (e.g. Photo, Text
Block, etc.) that I want to have on another page. If that page is already
displayed on the right, I would like to be able to simply drag and drop it
onto it. It appears that this is not possible and that I would have to cut
and paste instead. Can someone confirm whether or not it's possible to do
what I'm describing? This feature would be helpful if you had a number of
items to sort between pages in a given section.
