Can you email a custom icon using Outlook 2002 to a group.

I am trying to send a custom icon through Outlook 2002 in a corparate setting
to other employees. I drag the icon into an email and click send, a Microsoft
warning pops up "This item contains attachments that are potentially unsafe"
etc.... If you send anyway the icon is stripped out. I also tried
zipping the icon and that did not work. Is it possible to do this?
