Can you have a task name that doesn't affect the subfolders below

I'm a huge newbie to Microsoft Projects 2003. I want to be able to have a
Task Name as a heading name only and will not affect any sub-folders below
it. Here's an example: One of my Tasks names might be "Brochures &
Postcards". Under that heading I would list a number of different related
projects under that heading. I don't need the heading "Brochures & Postcards"
to have a duration, start & finish dates, etc. Is this possible??
