I was wondering before I install Office 2008 if I can keep Office 2008 on my computer as well. I know you can do this with the windows versions (office 2003 and office 2007).

In the word menu of Office 2008 I only have the term WORD, no other commands (i.e., File, Tools, View, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions how to restore them without having to re-install?

Thank you,

Test in a new User to see if the problem is system wide or in your User's
folder.

Go to System Preferences --> Create a New User in Accounts. Switch to the
New User by logging out/in or use Fast User Switching. Test Office there.
