Can you have the homepage option of an automatic link bar point to another page than index.htm?

Hi,

Here's my problem: I'm creating a site about my recent trip to Spain
(http://chicabarcelona.tripod.com/index.htm). The index.htm page offers a
language choice. From there, visitors either get on English.htm or
French.htm. From each sub-index-page, visitors can click to the various
pages of the site. I'm currently working on the English version (and will
worry about the French part later). I'm using link bars based on the
navigation structure. However, if I add a button "home" to each of these
link bars, this button refers to the language choice page, whereas I want it
to point to the English.htm page. Is there a way of changing the
destination of the home button in these bars or will I have to add a
separate button to the main page?

Thanks in advance,

Lenny

You will need to separate each language section into subwebs, with it own
navigation structure.

Hi,

I feared that might be the case ... but my server doesn't support subwebs.
I'll most likely solve the problem by getting a separate web account for
both parts.

Thanks for your response!

Might be less expensive to move to a new host, that support the FP
extensions and subwebs.
