Can you help me with a Word 2003 question?

When I try to add a scrolling text to a Word 2003 project for school, I get
the following message:
This object was created in Marquee. This application is not available to
open this object. Make sure the application is properly installed and that it
has not been deleted, moved, or renamed.
I'm not sure why I'm getting this message. I don't think that I did anything
different since loading Office 2003 Professional on my computer except get
DSL and it gets automatically configured. If anyone can tell me how to get
this part of Word 2003 to work I would really appreciate it? It's under the
Web Tools in Word 2003.

Service Pack 2 for Windows XP breaks the scrolling text feature
in Word. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=886299
