can you import data for one field in a table?

i am trying to use an email marketing program that allows for emails to be
updated, but i need to update those emails in membership database....

is there anyway to import one field (like email) over the email field in my
table?

Hi Kevin,

Your table and the table in the other database must have one or more
fields in common that identify corresponding records in the two tables
(e.g. if they both have compatible MemberIDs).

If so, start by using File|Get External Data to link the other table as
a table in your database. Then creating a Select query that joins the
linked table and your table on the shared field (or fields). When that's
working properly, convert it into an update query to update the email
field in your table.
