Can you include cc names on a distribution list?

I have a distribution list with a couple of people who want to be in the cc
box only. How do I get the distribution list to recognise that?

You don't. Either you tell the two people to get over it and that CC is
an outdated concept (honestly, I can't remember the last time I actually
looked to see if I was in the CC or the To field, except to see if I was
in either), or you set up two seperate lists.

You will need to create a 2nd Distribution list, with a different name, for
just the CC: or BCC: Line of the message header for those recipients. Then
insert that list into the CC: or BCC: Line when you compose the message. You
will then need to edit your primary list, by deleting the contacts that you
used in the 2nd distribution list, from the primary list.
