Can you link Access 97 to Sharepoint

I am trying to find information on using Access 97 with Sharepoint. I have
found a lot of info on Access 2007 and wanted to find a good source for 97.

That's one of the advantages 2007 has over 97 during development sharepoint
was around and the developers could take that into account. With 97 that's
not the case. You might be able to upload but you don't get the functionality
2007 offers. I think that's the primary reason no one is able to tell you
something about that combination.
