Can you link an Excel Database of activities/dates to a Visio Cal.

I am trying to generate a Visio Calendar from an list of activities with
dates in Excel. Is it possible to link Excel dates to Event shapes and have
them position themselves in the calendar from this database?

I believe you have to manually place the shapes. I don't know of a way to
drive this automatically.
