Can you make the page itself open larger?

I'm new to mac and have word for mac 2004. I would to know if I can
make the document larger. It opens to a standard size but I have a 20"
screen and would like to make it larger. I know how to change the font
size and when I do that the page stays the same size and font alone
gets bigger.

I did a few different searches on this site but couldn't find this
information.

Try page view with zoom set to page width.
