Can you mark a DIR to not be published in FP

Hi there,

I'm using FP2000. I know you can mark individual files to not be published
when you publish. VIEW > REPORTS > Publish Status.

But can you do that with an entire directory ? I want to mark the directory
(regardless of any files in it) to not be published.

Also, does anyone know if you do that in later versions of FP like FP2002 or
FP2003.

Thanks,

John

Unfortunately not - it is a file setting only.

The easiest way to do many files at once is to list all files, sort by
Folder, and select all the files in the folder using the shift key, then
choose don't publish.

The other way would by using a macro similiar to:

237797 FP2000: How to Set File Publish Status Using Microsoft Visual Basic
for
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=237797

* You would have to modify to be folder specific.

There is a free addin available at http://www.jimcoaddins.com/addins.aspx
called Selective Publish 3.0. Please be aware that this is a 3rd party
solution and Microsoft does endorse, warrant, or support this addin.
