Can you overwrite records in a Access Database from Infopath form?

I have and infopath form that submits to an access database and then
we save the form on the Sharepoint site.
Can I reopen that saved form, make corrections to the form and rewrite
over the previous records in the database?
I see where I can submit and write new records to the database and
pull info from a database to populate the form but nothing clear about
resubmitting the form and writing over the record.
