Can you re-activate Office 2007 licence after reformatting hard dr

I just installed and activated Office 2007 Enterprise on my notebook. Before
that, I tried to upgrade from Windows XP to Windows Vista but something went
wrong and Vista is half-installed but does not work. XP is working.

I want to install Windows Vista by reformatting the hard disk in order to
avoid installation problems, and then reinstall Office 2007.

My concern is if I will have trouble when activating the Office 2007
licence, since it is already activated.

Any advice will be welcome.

I installed Office 2007 Student edition, then about a year later upgraded to
Office 2007 Pro. I am trying to install a PDF conversion file, Microsoft
regognizes the Office pro version but will not allow me to install because it
can't validate the older Office 2007 student version. I have the original
disk and product keys.

Any help??
