Can you recommend where to store common templates and stencils

Hi,
we are creating templates and stencils in a central team and are going to
distribute this material to our colleagues. The goal is to store this on
every PC locallaly. But we have to agree on the same path to store the
templates and stencisl otherwise they will not work properly.

Can you recommend a path that's the best for this purpose? For example,
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Templates ?

I recommend changing your goal and putting the templates in one location.
This will make modifications to the templates much easier, then tell all of
your users to Click Tools, Options, Advanced, and in the Templates box enter
a path in unc format to the folder on the server.

Remember, people don't need copies of templates, they just need access to
the template to get started creating their own drawings in accordance with
the standards provided by the templates. If people have their own copy of
the template they may not get an updated version and then there will be a
problem.

the access time restriction is just in the opening/saving of the document,
should be minimal on a lan.
