Can you reduce the duration in MS Project down to seconds from minutes?

I need to tally in seconds not minutes for a project. Thanks!

No you can not.
However, if your "project" is short enough, you could pretend that the
minutes are seconds and that the hours are minutes. I don't think that it is
possible to define a day as 60 hours so I think that is where you would
stop.
