Is it possible to rotate an entire document? I am creating a brochure and need to rotate it horizontally. How do I do this?
Thank you!

I believe what you mean is that you want the page wider than it is tall,
which is referred to as Landscape (as opposed to Portrait). You can make
that change in File> Page Setup. But before you begin...

You may be able to use one of the Brochure templates you'll find in File>
Project Gallery - New. Most of them are already designed in Landscape. Once
you create the new document based on one of those templates you need only
modify/replace the placeholder content with your own.

Yes, you "can" do it, but it's a bit laborious.

If Bob's answer does not fill the need, then you need to first create the
page as a "Picture".

To do that:

1) Select all the text and Copy

2) In a blank document, Edit>Paste Special>As Picture

3) Right-click what you have pasted and set the Text Wrapping style to
"Tight"

4) Enter the header area of the source document, select all and Copy

5) Paste that into the blank document too, and set its Text Wrapping style
to "Tight".

6) Do the same with the footer.

7) Now rotate all three pieces and adjust their positions appropriately.

8) Select all three pieces and right-click and Group them (you can't rotate
while they are grouped)

9) Now copy the whole thing and paste it back into the source document (and
delete the original).

Hope this helps

And if you're going to follow John's method, I'd suggest that you do the
Paste Special as PDF rather than as Picture. I think you'll get sharper
results which will be more compatible if the document goes elsewhere... I'm
sure John will correct me if I'm wrong :)

Hi Bob:

That's a "Suck it and see" proposition.

"Paste as Picture" is actually pasting a Word Picture Object. Provided the
destination is a flavour of Microsoft Word, the resolution "should" be the
same as the document.

The objects in the picture are the same as the objects in the document: just
flipped. So they should be at full resolution: as high as the printer will
go.

Whereas PDF "can" down-sample.

But until they convince ME that they have solved their fuzzy pictures bug, I
would say you simply have to try it.

Cheers
