Can you save your inbox, sent file, etc onto a cd?

I am trying to save all of my messages in my inbox, my sent box, etc onto a
cd and cannot find a way to do this. Is this possible and if so, how?

You can export them to a pst file and then burn them to CD. To restore them
you would have to import the pst file.

Search Outlook help for export to .pst.

Aloha Lauri,

Sure, burn a copy of your PST file to the CD. You may have to find it first
- Start | Search. Search for *.pst and make sure hidden and system folders
are included in the search.
