Id really like some help with this. I'm sorry if this is a newbie
question, this is my first experience with one note, and I really love
the concept of it, but I don't know how to do anything yet.
Also if there's a site or something that teaches ya the ins and outs of
one note, that would be awesome!!
You can easily use a usb jump drive or similar to go between machines
with OneNote. The easiest way is to simply create a new notebook ON THE
USB DRIVE. Leave the notebook open within OneNote on the first machine
(you can still close OneNote itself). Then go to the second machine and
open the notebook from the usb drive. Again, leave it open within
OneNote. Now when you move the usb drive between machines OneNote will
automatically sync the changes, even down to differing elements on a
single page. You can even go ahead and use the notebooks without the
jump drive in place and it will sync later when it is there. If you
note the tab containing the notebook name it should have an icon that
shows the sync status - really handy.
This may or may not be what you were asking about, but if you are not
familiar with this capability it will be very easy to try out.
