You can recover your file from the Recycle Bin. Double click the icon on
your desktop, in the Recycle Bin window highlight your file and click on
"Retore this item".

If the file is not in the Recycle Bin, (you deleted it right out - e.g.
hitting delete while holding the shift key down - then you will need special
sofware to try and recover it. There are several good programmes available,
some free. http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/UK/welcome.htm

Good luck,

Karen--

ME is the name of a Windows OS. Word is a component of the Application
Microsoft Office. To tell your version of Word, look at the first window
when it opens up, or Help About or the CD.

I would show all files and folders including hidden ones and search because
often when someone says they lost a file or deleted it, it may show up.

There is undelete software that would find your file. Norton System Works
has an "unerase wizard"

Exec Software has Undelete 3.0 for $30.

Both would probably recover your file.

Have you looked in your "Recycle Bin" on the Desktop?
