Can you use InfoPath for user scripting

S

Sunny

Hi I am working in a company that wants to use InfoPath to script responses
to inbound calls it receives. The company is a public sector organisation and
has a call centre which receives inbound calls. There are certain processes,
specific questions that need to be asked during the call. So that there is no
user error, can these scripts pop up on the agent desktop when they enter
certain information.

Apologies if this is an obvious question, I am new to InfoPath and want to
know if we could roll out InfoPath to do this functionality across the
company - approx 50 users to start with.

Many thanks

Sunny

Definetely.

You can put logic on fields and buttons which either post messages or lead
to another section, etc.

Are you going to save the response for each call as well?

You can have full audit tracking etc.

Once you have your script / scenarios / logic etc. It could be implemented
in InfoPath very nicely.
