can you use visio for front and backyard landscaping

Hi
Visio is so power tool. With Summer in the corner, we are working in the
backyard.
Now that i think, we have Visio installed on most of our work computers.
Now i am wondering if you ever used it for landscaping. I am really
interested but i can find any layout.

Can you help if you know where i can find some examples and layout to design
my backyard.

If you have Visio 2003 Professional, there are Building Plan templates. The
stencils/shapes included with the Site Layout template include swimming
pools, garden furniture, plants, bushes, trees, etc.

I don't think these come with the Standard version, but I'm not sure off the
top of my head.

Of course, Visio supports scaled drawings, so you can always start with
boxes and circles with text in them, sized exactly to the dimensions of your
garden, your furniture, and so on. (See View > Size & Postion, where you
can type the size of an object exactly, and see File > Page Setup, where you
can set the scale of a drawing)
