can you watch a slideshow on windows media player and if so how?

i am using power point 2007 and i would like to know if you could watch a
slide show on windows media player

You would need to convert it to a video format using third party software eg
Camtasia from techsmith

Camstudio is free and will record the screen to a video file but there's no
frills!
