Canada vs US Pricing

Hi All,

I am looking at buying a number of seats of Office and noticed that
the price for an OEM seat in Canada is $200 more than in the US.

My question is, can I buy it in the US and legally install it in
Canada or is the license only valid in the country in which it is
purchased?

that can answer your question one way or the other with
100% certainty. You'll take a 50/50 risk I don't think would

I had a friend get me a copy of Office 2003 in the States and I have
been using it here in Spain for over six months. It passed activation
and became "genuine" when I went for updates. Of course you can go to
*any* country and buy *anything* you want that's legal and use it in
your country. With the wimpy US dollar, a lot of people are doing just
that with no problems. I also got the same friend to get me a copy of XP
Pro and it activated, became genuine, etc. no problem.

Don't pay any mind to Carey as he really shouldn't be an MVP and usually
doesn't have a clue.
