Cancel an Office Update under Automatic Updates Office 07 B2TR

Hi all,

I am so enjoying Office 2007 but I have one problem. I still have Office
2003 installed and Office Update is trying to Update the spam profile for
Outlook 2003. the last time I excepted these updates it killed my Outlook
2007 program and I had to reload Office 2007 again from scratch. how do I
cancel an update for Office under Automatic Updates. I unchecked the update
but it keeps coming back. any suggestions?

When you uncheck the update, do you get a prompt to not ask you again?
Also, it is best to uninstall Outlook 2003 while running the beta of Outlook
2007 - there are many documented problems with this configuration.

Yes, I just notices the prompt. Always in a hurry and did not read it
properly. Duh! I thought installing Office 2007 removed Outlook 2003. at
least I thought I read that. How do I do that? remove all of Office 2003?

Run your add/remove programs and select to uninstall Office 2003.
