Cancel event not working with .NET code

I have some code written in .Net that makes a call to the cancel event
method when a user clicks on my addin buton and elects not to send the
email. Is there anything that is making the cancel not to be called? Is
there a workaround?

Resolved this by recompiling the Outlook Interop.
