Cancle "Acknowledgement of Receipt" from sending

D

dadogfather

I made a major mistake!! I received a spam email that slipped through my spam
processing and ended up in my inbox. The email had a "Acknowledgement of
Receipt" attanched to it and I inadvertantly approved the receipt to be sent.

The account that this email came in on is a "Trash Account" and therefore
has no server linkage for sending outgoing mail. Now Outlook is repetedly
trying to cycle through and send this email, only to return a task error in
my "Send/Receive Progress" box (over and over and over....)

I was hoping that this message would be sitting in my outbox and I could
just delete it, but it does not show up there.

Anyone know how I can track this thing down and make it go away without
opening this account for sending and letting these Spammers know that they
have a "hit"??

Thanks for your advice!!

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

Thank you Diane (and Milly)
Four days later, the damn thing is finally gone!!

What a great looking site (outlook-tips.net)!! I will certainly mark it for
future use and spend some time getting familiar with it before I need it
again.

Again, THANKS!!
