! Cannot access directory 'F:\Excel\'

Microsoft Excel Problem:

I get this error message in MS Excel 2000:

! Cannot access directory 'F:\Excel\'

(Reinstall Doesn't work)

I want to access the user's excel documents on a
directory on another disk.
I can't go into the any tab under Options but the View
Tab which means I can't get to the general tab to change
the path to the new directory.

Can you please help?

Did you check with person who own's the files you are
trying to access and check to see if you have permission
to access that directory?
