Cannot access files from CD

I am unable to access some PowerPoint files that I burned
onto a CD. I can see that the files are on the CD
(properties indicate the correct file size and the icon
is there) but when I open it, only a blank presentation
appears. I cannot copy and paste to a new location. When
I try it says it can't open the file and that
the "parameter is invalid." However, I can open other
files on the CD with no problem. Is there any way around
this? Any help would be much appreciated....Thanks.

Have you tried moving the file from the CD to your hard drive first, and
then opening it from PowerPoint? Did you burn the file to the CD from your
regular CD burning software, or did you save it to the CD from PowerPoint?

Right click on one of the files on the CD and check the Properties.
Anything unusual?

Are you reading the CD from the same drive/burner it was created on? What
software did you use? Did you create a multi-session CD?
