Cannot access secure web sites

Thanks for your help. I hope I have the correct group.

Sometime in the last month or so Internet Explorer 6.0 on
my HP 763n has lost its ability to access secure web
sites. I have done nothing to change my pc settings, nor
have I installed new software.

I tried a "system restore" without success.

My interent security and privacy settings (tools menu)
remain on "medium".

Could this be related to the recent appearance of MSN
Explorer login screens when I open Outlook Express or
Internet Explorer? (I removed MSN Explorer months ago)

Sorry, you don't have the correct group: this one is for questions about
security in Access, the database product.

The IE6 groups start microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.
