Cannot access

How do I start acess when this error apears?
" The procedure point DdeCmpString'_? could not be located
in the dynamic link library USER32.dll"
Since i cleaned up from a virus attack acess won't open
I even tried a repair from my origional cd. no fix???

finally fixed .... did a repair/ reinstall in maintance
mode...thanks for listening
