Cannot Add Mail Profile

Hi,

I am using Vista and office 2007 and I cannot add a new mail profile on my
current Admin account.

All the help files say to go to "control panel", then select "user accounts"
and then "mail" but my system does not have "mail" in either "user accounts"
nor "control panel" so I am stuck, please help.

Pat, As I noted before I don't have a "mail" option either in Control Panel
or under the "user accounts" which is what the Vista help pages talk about.

I have figured this out. Since I am using a 64-bit version of Vista the
Control Panel is not the same as that of the 32-bit version. I have to
select "View 32-bit Control Panel Items" in the control panel and the mail
option was shown there. Geez, you think MS would update their help to
include their 64-bit version of the OS

Did you install Outlook 2007 yet? You can't get mail profiles until you
install a MAPI e-mail client, like Outlook.

"Vista" doesn't say if you have the 32- or 64-bit version installed. If
the 64-bit version, look at the "View 32-bit Control Panel items".

I don't use or have experience with Windows Vista but I can Google. You
might want to configure Vista to get rid of all the other childish
wizard interfaces and revert Vista to a more XP-like interface.
